I was lucky enough to have Ryan Schouweiler as a clinical instructor when I was a DPT student and also as mentor when I was attending my orthopedic residency at UW Madison. Ryan was incredibly effective in tailoring education and therapy skills for my skill level, and the jump in challenge was apparent as he became my mentor and colleague during my residency. He is the reason that my clinical reasoning skills have grown as he challenged me to think of all possible solutions for complex patients. Ryan is the reason that I am the clinician I am today.

He provides honest perspective and feedback, interventions to address the pain and healing goals, compassion and presence to all concerns and questions I bring to him.
